Hull FC's Craig Hall has pledged his future to the club by signing a new deal to keep him at the KC Stadium until the end of the 2010 season.

The 20-year-old centre is the Black and Whites' top try scorer with a total of eight tries in 11 games this season.

Hall's current deal was due to expire this year having signed a one-year extension last season.

The new two-year deal will bring an end to speculation linking him with a cross-city switch to rivals Hull KR.

Hall made an impressive first-grade debut for FC last season when he scored a hat-trick of tries, along with 11 goals, for a combined total of 34 points - just two short of the club's all-time points-scoring record - in the 78-0 Challenge Cup win over Hunslet.

Growing up as the son of former Hull Kingston Rovers and Great Britain star David Hall, rugby was in the blood for Craig and he made his mark on the amateur game with local Hull side Embassy Longhill as well as representing Yorkshire and England schoolboys.

He joined Hull FC's scholarship scheme at the age of 13 and has emerged as one of the stand-out youngsters currently playing the game in this country.
