Radford is a key player for Hull |
Hull captain Lee Radford has agreed a one-year extension to his contract, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2009 season. Radford, 28, said: "This is fantastic for me. It was one of the easiest decisions I have had to make."
Coach Peter Sharp added: "This is great for the future of the club to secure someone of Lee's ability and standing.
"It sends the right message and shows our experienced players are confident of the direction we are heading in."
Hull-born Radford made his debut for the club as a 16-year-old and returned after seven successful years with Bradford, in which he won every major domestic honour.

And he believes Hull are also capable of winning silverware in the coming year.
"If I didn't believe that I wouldn't have agreed this new deal," he insisted.
"I truly do believe we have the quality of players to make that step up to become trophy winners.
"We won the Challenge Cup in 2005 and reached the Grand Final in 2006. That is a start but there is a lot more to come from this side.
"Looking at the players we already have and those coming through the system the future, are very exciting at Hull and I want to be part of it."
