Hull stand-off Paul Cooke has agreed a three-year contract extension to keep him at the club until 2009. The 24-year-old has spent his entire professional career at the club and if he completes his new deal, will be entitled to a testimonial season.
"There was more money available elsewhere but I would have been giving up an awful lot more had I left," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"As a Hull lad I had to stay here and help us win silverware."
