Thackray signs new Hull contract
Jamie Thackray
Thackray has also played for Halifax and Hunslet
Hull have been boosted by the news that forward Jamie Thackray has signed a new two-year contract extension.

The 25-year-old, who arrived at the KC Stadium from Castleford on a one-year deal last winter, has now committed himself to Hull until 2007.

Thackray has been a regular in Hull's side so far this season and has impressed new head coach John Kear.

His displays have earned him a call-up to the Great Britain training squad ahead of this autumn's Tri-Nations.
