Huddersfield Giants prop-forward Adam Walker has committed his immediate future to the club by signing a new two-year deal at the Galpharm. The academy product has performed well enough to force himself into coach Nathan Brown's plans for Friday's game against the Catalans Dragons. "Adam is steadily developing and he has improved in some important areas this year," Brown said. "He has a bit of skill and is a player with a bright future," Brown added. "He is a young front rower who has more to his game than just playing straight up and down," Brown continued. The deal is a significant step forward for Walker. "I'm delighted to have signed a new two-year contract with the Giants," Walker said. "I had no hesitation in doing so and everyone can see that it is definitely a club that is going places." "The coaching staff are great and Nathan and Paul Anderson have really taught me a lot and Bumper (Mark Andrews) has also brought my fitness on leaps and bounds." "I'm delighted to have made the 19-man squad again and hope that I can push on, keep working hard and make my Giants debut," he added.
