Fa'alogo will play under ex-St George Illawarra coach Nathan Brown |
South Sydney say their New Zealand Test second-rower David Fa'alogo has agreed a four-year deal with Huddersfield Giants from the start of next season. The 28-year-old has taken up an option in his contract which allows him to play in England and the club has granted him an early release. Fa'alogo, who made his debut for Souths in 2002, has played 13 Tests for the Kiwis since 2006. He was part of their World Cup-winning side last year. His manager Gavin Orr said the deal was agreed with the Giants this week and Fa'alogo was delighted with the move. "David has always been interested in a chance to play overseas and this option is very exciting for him and his family," he said.
