Lolesi is one of many players left stranded in New Zealand and Australia |
Former Kiwi Test centre Jamahl Lolesi has been granted a long-awaited visa to resume his Huddersfield career. The 27-year-old had been a victim of tightened visa processing at the British High Commission in Canberra. He will now fly into the country on Sunday ahead of the Giants' friendly with Wigan at the Glapharm Stadium. "Jamahl has been as frustrated with this as we have," said Giant's managing director Richard Thewlis. "He has been training but it's not the same." Lolesi signed for the Giants in September 2006 and has played 49 matches for the club, scoring 20 tries.
