The 28-year-old ex-Leeds full-back or winger will link up with his former Rhinos team-mate Anthony Farrell, the Halifax coach.

"This is a coup for us," said Farrell. "I was surprised when he was let go.

"Marcus could have gone elsewhere and made more money, but he's chosen to come here and be part of what we're trying to achieve."
