Full-back Jamie Murphy scored two tries as Crusaders came from 12-0 down to beat Widnes 20-12 in their first pre-season friendly. Ben Kavanagh and Kurt Haggerty each claimed converted tries for Widnes. But Crusaders hit back with Murphy grabbing his first before Elliot Kear and Jarrod Sammut went over, and Murphy rounded off the win late on. "It was important that the guys got a good hit out," said new Crusaders coach Iestyn Harris.
