Dixon spent four years at the Celtic Crusaders |
Sacked Celtic Crusaders coach John Dixon has landed a new job just 48 hours after making his departure from the struggling Super League side. The Australian will return home to take charge of Queensland club Redcliffe Dolphins next month. It means the 57-year-old will also relinquish his role as coach of the Wales rugby league side. The Crusaders finished bottom of Super League with only three wins in their first season. They also had six players deported back to their native Australia because of visa irregularities. "I'm looking forward to coming back to Queensland and the challenges of coaching in such an elite competition at the most successful club in Queensland Cup history," said Dixon.
