Ballard is eager to continue his form in the Super League

Celtic Crusaders have re-signed Paul Ballard for the 2009 season.

The 24-year old winger ran in 40 tries in 49 appearances for the Welsh club in 2007 and 2008.

"Obviously I've a lot of friends here, I get on well with the players and I want to see how well I do in Super League," said Ballard.

Crusaders' coach John Dixon added: "Paul was very keen to return. I was keen to have him back. We're excited to see him have his Super League chance."
