Catalans Dragons half-back Thomas Bosc has signed a new three-year contract with the Perpignan club.

Now in Australia with France for the World Cup, Bosc came second behind Wigan's Pat Richards in the Super League scoring chart with 245 points.

"I'm delighted to extend my contract," said the 25-year-old Bosc, whose new deal runs until the end of the 2011 season. "I'm very close to the club.

"We've improved a lot since our debut in Super League."

Catalans general manager Christophe Levy added: "This is a fantastic news for Catalans. Thomas has done a great job for the club over the last three years.

"He made a lot of progress since his debut in Super League to become a very skilful player. He's an iconic player for the club and a product of the academy."
