Visiting fans lift French economy | | Super League fans travelling to France to support their teams at the Catalans Dragons this season spent �3.35m in the region, it has been revealed. The president of the Perpignan Chamber of Commerce said over 35,000 British fans attended Dragons matches in their first season in Super League. The Dragons finished bottom of the table but were exempt from relegation. The club are finishing off renovating the Gilbert Brutus Stadium, their home for the 2007 season.
