Castleford have signed Hull FC's Danny Brough on an 18-month deal. The 23-year-old half-back, who kicked the winning conversion in Hull's Challenge Cup victory over Leeds last year, has moved for an undisclosed fee.
"Danny is a hard worker and a strong tackler with a good kicking game, as well as being a top-notch goal kicker," said Tigers coach Terry Matterson.
Castleford have also announced that skipper Danny Nutley has pledged his future to the club until 2008.
"With Danny agreeing an extension to his contract it completes a very good week for the club," Matterson added.

"Our fans have seen the commitment in his performances week in week out and I'm sure that they will be delighted that he is now on board for a couple more years."
Brough, who has also played for Wakefield and Dewsbury, made 43 appearances and 204 points since joining Hull in 2004.
"This is a big opportunity for me. I haven't been getting regular football recently and that is what I'm looking for at the Tigers," Brough said.
"This is the chance that I wanted and I'm pleased to be joining a club that is going forward."
Castleford are currently lying in ninth place in Super League after just five wins from 16 games.
And the club insist Brough's capture will help their battle against relegation.
"Paying a significant transfer fee we know is not the best use of our money, but we cannot take chances with our Super League status and have to do all that we can to ensure that we retain it," said chief operating officer Richard Wright.
