Building company Waystone is to submit an outline planning application for a community stadium, to be built at Glasshoughton, early in the summer.

Castleford chief executive Richard Wright said: "We've been working on our new stadium project for some time.

"We still have a great deal of work to do to turn the dreams into reality but all parties involved are committed to making it happen."
