Henderson joined Bradford from Australian side Parramatta in 2005 |
Bradford hooker Ian Henderson will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season to join the New Zealand Warriors. The 24-year-old Australian, one of three brothers playing in England, turned down a new deal with the Bulls.
Henderson, who has played 65 games for Bradford since joining from Parramatta in 2005, said: "I would not have left to play for any other English club.
"This opportunity with the Warriors has come at just the right time for me."
Bradford coach Steve McNamara added: "We are very sorry to see Ian go as he has been tremendous for us.
"We would have loved to have kept him for longer but fully understand his decision, which has been made for family reasons."
