Bradford say they will not be panicked into finding a replacement for Stuart Fielden following his move to Wigan. "Stuart is obviously a big loss but there will be no knee-jerk reaction," said Bulls coach Steve McNamara.
"We won't bring anyone in who won't be right for us long term. We're very thorough in our search for players and they've got to be right for Bradford."
Brad Meyers took Fielden's place in the front row against Huddersfield and scored a try in Friday's 42-16 victory.
"Brad Meyers was very good for us," said McNamara. "He was asked to do a job he's not familiar with and he did some tough things for us."
Fielden ended his eight-year spell with Bradford by agreeing a 450,000 switch to Wigan on Thursday.
