Morley free to make Bradford move
Adrian Morley
Morley could join Bradford for the rest of the season
Lions prop Adrian Morley is expected to complete his move to Bradford next week after the Sydney Roosters failed to reach the NRL play-offs this weekend.

Manly's victory over Canberra means the Roosters cannot make the top eight, freeing up Morley to join the Bulls.

Morley, 28, insists his short-term move to Odsal is not a sign he is looking for a permanent move back to England.

The Salford-born former Leeds player could make his Bradford debut against Huddersfield on 11 September.

Morley will play for the Bulls before linking up with the GB squad for the Tri-Nations series.

"This is fantastic news for the club," said Bradford chairman Chris Caisley.

"Adrian is one of the best forwards in the world and having him on board will give us a massive boost going into the play-offs.

"He is really looking forward to joining the Bulls and feels that coming across at this time of the year will be a great way to prepare for the Tri-Nations Series.

"I would like to thank everyone at the Roosters for their help in arranging this agreement."

Morley is the third NRL player on a short-term deal with a Super League club. Andrew Johns is joining Warrington, while Sione Faumuina is linking up with Hull.
