Peacock handed Bradford captaincy
Jamie Peacock in action for Great Britain
Peacock was in Great Britain's Tri-Nations side
Bradford Bulls have announced that Jamie Peacock will replace Robbie Paul as team captain next season.

Second rower Peacock, 27, has made 171 appearances for the Bulls since his arrival at the club as a teenager.

"He is a great talker and will talk about doing the right things when we are under pressure.

"He will lead by example but he is also smart," said Bradford coach Brian Noble, who has decided that Paul should remain club captain.

"It a great honour for me. Bradford is a massive club and a lot of great players have captained it before," said Peacock.

"I am really pleased that Nobby decided to choose me because there are a lot of other leaders in the club.

"The likes of Iestyn Harris, Paul Deacon and Stuart Fielden are all up there as well and are natural leaders."
