Harris has only just returned from a three-year stint in rugby union |
Robbie Paul says new Bradford team-mate Iestyn Harris must be given time to shine following his return to league. After three years in union with Cardiff, Harris has returned to league and will make his debut for the Bulls against Wakefield on Sunday.
"We must all take a step back and let the guy adjust," Paul told BBC Sport.
"He's got rugby league coursing through his veins. He's pure class but he's going to need some time to get back into the swing of things."
Harris, a former Man of Steel, angered Leeds by signing a four-year contract with the Bulls, but Paul is convinced the Welshman's ability will keep him clear of trouble. "He's such an awesome natural talent that I don't actually think it will be too long before we see him worrying Super League defences again," said Paul.
