Catalans Dragons (4) 14 Tries: Pelo, Raguin, Bell Goals: Bosc
Hull FC (22) 28 Tries: Fitzgibbon, O'Meley, Briscoe, Whiting, Tansey Goals: Tickle (4)
Hull ran in five tries to beat Catalans and leave the French side languishing at the bottom of Super League. The visitors took a comfortable 22-4 lead into half-time thanks to tries from Craig Fitzgibbon, Mark O'Meley, Tom Briscoe and Richard Whiting. Dimitri Pelo scored Catalans' first-half points, and Sebastian Raguin grabbed their second try on 69 minutes. But Jordan Tansey sealed the win for Hull, with Steven Bell's late score for the Dragons a mere consolation.
Catalans Dragons coach Kevin Walters: "We have to keep going because we are still mathematically in with a chance of the play-offs. "As long as that is alive and available to us we will do the best we can to get the wins we need. "At half-time we were still in the game but we didn't take our opportunities. We just weren't good enough today." Hull coach Richard Agar: "There's a long way to go, but without a doubt the return of Craig Fitzgibbon and Sean Long helped. "They have spread a lot of confidence throughout the team and they've been good for us. "We hit our regions well and everyone was in the right position on the field and doing the right things."
