 | Wakefield (21) 21 Tries: Tadulala, Rooney 2 Goals: Rooney 4 Drop Goals: Rooney Warrington (0) 22 Tries: Kohe-Love, Bridge 2, Swann Goals: Bridge 3 | Warrington put on a stunning late show with four tries in the second half to snatch victory from what seemed certain defeat at Belle Vue. The visitors looked in dire trouble before the break as Wakefield raced to an 21-0 lead with Jamie Rooney touching down twice and a try for Semi Tadulala. But Toa Kohe-Love turned the tide in the 47th minute before Chris Bridge and Logan Swann added two more. Bridge grabbed his second with six minutes to go to seal a dramatic win. But that outcome never looked possible in a first half in which Tadulala opened the scoring and Rooney, in just his second game back from a lengthy injury lay off, added 17 points including two tries. But the Wolves came out a much more determined side in the second half, getting on the score sheet within five minutes of the restart. In the 57th minute, second-half replacement Michael Sutherland passed for Bridge to go over from close range and Bridge assumed the kicking responsibility from the erratic Lee Briers to cut the deficit to 11. With 13 minutes remaining, Swann crashed over again from close range and Bridge kicked his side within range. Warrington then compounded the home crowd's anger and disbelief with a few minutes to go when Bridge touched down from a grubber kick from Briers to complete a remarkable comeback. Warrington coach Paul Cullen "That fight and team spirit that we showed in the second half wasn't there sufficiently last week, but it was there today. "It was a win for team spirit. We have had half a dozen players who are nowhere near the best of their form. "We were too soft in the first half, but too tough for them in the second." Wakefield coach Tony Smith "Some things went on that we didn't have control of. They had the ball 25 times in the second half, we had it 11. "The crowd have got their own opinion on it. We never got a chance to score in that second half. "The penalties and possession crippled us. Crucial decisions can kill you and that's what happened today."
