Aspinwall was injured at the end of the season |
Huddersfield Giants have signed versatile centre Martin Aspinwall from Wigan on a two-year deal. The 23-year-old follows Great Britain second rower Stephen Wild to Huddersfield from the Warriors.
"I'm very excited about coming here - there were several options, but a move to Giants appealed," said Aspinwall.
"They're one of the most ambitious and progressive clubs in Super League and the thought of being a part of their future success is very exciting."
Aspinwall becomes the Giants' fifth signing following the arrival of Andy Raleigh (Hull KR), Steve Snitch (Wakefield), Matt Gardner (Leeds) and Wild.
"Martin will be an exciting addition to our squad," said Huddersfield coach Jon Sharp.
"He is quick, strong and athletic and has proved himself at the highest level. At 23, he has got his best years ahead of him."
