Super League champions Leeds kept up their unbeaten start to the season after handing Widnes a heavy defeat. The home side, who have now won 16 league games in a row, were given an early fright when Andrew Emelio went over early on for a try.
But after that it was all one-way traffic as the Rhinos ran in 12 tries, four of them for Mark Calderwood.
Gareth Ellis and Rob Burrow, who replaced the injured Danny McGuire, also scored two tries apiece.
Widnes were still in touch at the break but the Rhinos showed their intent a minute into the second half when Marcus Bai went over after an offload from replacement Willie Poching.

Four minutes later, Ellis claimed his second try of the game before veteran Barrie McDermott extended the Leeds advantage on 48 minutes.
Leeds skipper Kevin Sinfield added 18 points with his right boot as the Rhinos remained on top of the table the only undefeated side in Super League X.
