Bradford have hit out at local rivals Leeds after they reportedly showed interest in signing Jamie Langley. He had been linked with Wakefield as part of a proposed swap deal for Gareth Ellis, which tipped Leeds off.
"We have received no communication from Leeds with regards to Jamie or any other player," said a club statement.
"We treat the statements in the press, attributed to the Leeds Rhinos chief executive Gary Hetherington with the contempt they deserve."
