Iestyn Harris was happy with his brief appearance in Bradford's 36-26 victory over Wakefield which marked his return to rugby league. The Wales international came on as a substitute after 53 minutes and said: "It was a scrappy game to come in to.
"I had itchy feet, wanting to get on, but [Bulls coach] Brian (Noble) wanted to ease me in.
"It was good to get it under my belt. I will work more on my fitness this week. I don't think I am too far away."
The Bulls had been reduced to 12 men after Karl Pratt was sent off for his part in a punch-up.
And when he came on, Harris found himself playing among the three-quarters instead of his favourite stand-off position.
He was unable to exert his influence as the Wildcats staged a fightback.
"It's always difficult when you are down to 12 men and it felt a little bit strange playing on the wing," Harris added.
