 Hanley returned to league with Castleford after some time in union |
Ellery Hanley has left his post as coaching consultant at Castleford. Former Great Britain star Hanley was appointed on 19 May to assist newly-installed head coach Gary Mercer.
A statement from Castleford said Hanley had "carried out and completed his analysis and passed the appropriate details" to Mercer.
"Ellery has now fulfilled his commitments to the club and feels they are now fully aware of what is required for Super League survival."
Since Hanley's appointment, Castleford have won only one game and they suffered a heavy defeat at home to Bradford last Sunday.
