Warrington have signed Halifax utility back Simon Grix on a two-year deal. The teenager, who turns 19 on Saturday, made his Super League debut against St Helens in 2003 and has played 21 times for Halifax this season.
Grix was a part of the England Under-18 side that recorded a first-ever victory over Australia's Schoolboys in Sydney last month.
Head coach Paul Cullen said: "Simon is a player of great potential and will operate as a full time professional."
