Bradford ran in 11 tries as they beat a weakened St Helens side in a one-sided and hugely disappointing match. Saints made 11 changes for the game, resting the likes of Paul Sculthorpe, Sean Long and Kieron Cunningham.
But Martin Gleeson was included after a spell out and gave the visitors a shock lead when he touched down.
Bradford hit back with tries came from Shontayne Hape (3), Tevita Vaikona (2), Lesley Vainikolo (2), Michael Withers (2), Jamie Langley and Lee Radford.
St Helens were always facing an uphill battle following Ian Millward's decision to rest a string of top players.
And their cause was not helped when Jon Wilkin was sent off on 10 minutes for a high tackle on Paul Deacon.
Bradford took full advantage of their numerical advantage, although the margin of victory would have been greater had Withers been more successful with his kicks.
Saints grabbed a second try when Dom Feaunati dived over in the corner in the dying seconds, but it was scant consolation.
