Australian full-back Michael Withers scored four tries as Bradford warmed up for the World Club Challenge with a 26-12 win over Wakefield on Wednesday. The Bulls other touchdowns came from Leon Pryce and substitute Nicky Saxton.
Paul Handforth and skipper Gareth Ellis scored second-half tries for Wakefield.
With Paul Deacon and Robbie Paul both sidelined because of injury, scrum-half Karl Pratt and hooker Aaron Smith staked their claims for a starting spot against Penrith later this month.
