|  Gleeson needs a skin graft |
Great Britain and St Helens have been dealt a blow with the news that Martin Gleeson will miss the rest of the season. The 23-year-old centre needs further surgery after a first operation to combat blood poisoning left him with a big hole in his leg and needing a skin graft. Saints coach Ian Millward said: "We are not expecting him back this season because it's not going to heal quickly enough for sport." Millward also revealed club captain Chris Joynt is expected to return from knee surgery within three or four weeks.
