Workington Town coach Ged Stokes has praised his side following their 28-20 victory over Blackpool in the Northern Rail Cup. "The performance was very workman-like, and our guys really took the game to them," Stokes told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"We lacked a little bit of composure at times, but we played really good rugby in the first half."
Workington remain in third place in Group 5, just one point behind Barrow who lost 16-6 to Whitehaven.
