Celtic Crusaders have made their first signing of the close season by snapping up Halifax centre Anthony Blackwood. The 24-year-old Wales international scored 13 tries in 24 appearances for the League One side last season.
He has been named in the Wales squad to face Scotland in a World Cup qualifier in Bridgend on Sunday, 29 October.
National League Two side Crusaders have also announced their retained list for next season, with 13 current players earning new contracts.
They are Chris Beasley, Phil Cushion, Geraint Davies, Hywel Davies, Gareth Dean, Tony Duggan, Grant Epton, Dean Fitzgerald, Richard Johnson, Damien Quinn, Jace Van Dijk, Neil Wyatt and Luke Young.
