 | MATCH SUMMARY Salford: (0) 16 Tries: Rutgerson, Littler, Moule Goals: Wilshere, Myker Wigan: (0) 4 Tries: Richards | Wigan's misery continued as they were dumped out of the Challenge Cup by Salford in the rain at The Willows. The first half was scoreless and it was not until seven minutes into the second half that Salford's Sean Rutgerson went over for the first try. John Wilshere added the extras but was off target when Stuart Littler scored Salford's second try to make it 10-0. Aaron Moule's try, converted by Stephen Myler, made it 16-0 before Pat Richards touched down for Wigan's only points. Salford boss Karl Harrison: "I thought we played well. I don't know how many tries we bombed but we made a lot of line breaks. "Full credit to Wigan, who scrambled really hard to keep their line intact, but I thought we were dominant throughout. "We knew Wigan wouldn't lie down. That first 40 minutes was possibly as tough as you'll see." Wigan boss Brian Noble: "We're just not building enough pressure. The effort was there but we're not finding our attacking rhythm. "Most of our errors were in their half and it's difficult to score tries when you do that. It's something we've got to work on and persist with. "We'll keep working hard at practice and will turn the corner. We just need a win."
