Brett Dallas scored a hat-trick of tries on his 100th appearance for Wigan as the Warriors reached another Powergen Challenge Cup final.

The Australian winger scored his first on 10 minutes when he pounced on a loose pass from Mike Forshaw and added two more after the break.

Kris Radlinski and Steven Wild also crossed for Wigan, with skipper Andy Farrell kicking 10 points.

Warrington's tries came from Ben Westwood, Darren Burns and Forshaw.

Wigan coach Mike Gregory was quick to heap praise on hat-trick hero Dallas.

"Brett has won the game for us. You can't beat pace," said Gregory.

His speed and strength makes him a force
Mike Gregory on Brett Dallas

"He scored on the back of mistakes but, no matter who you are, with pace you are going to be dangerous.

"His speed and strength makes him a force. It was about getting the breaks today and fortunately we got them."

Dallas ran from the halfway line to score his first try under the posts then doubled his tally following another mistake by Warrington midway through the second half .

His third of the day was a sensational effort, his awesome pace again leaving the Wolves defence trailing on 71 minutes.

"We came up with a couple of lucky tries but you make your own luck in these games," said the man-of-the-match.

Radlinski's effort was also pretty special, the Great Britain full-back running 70 metres to touch down under the posts after beating Lee Briers to his chip through on 23 minutes.

We dominated them but they just had too much class at the end of the day
Wolves coach Paul Cullen

Warrington coach Paul Cullen was left to rue what might have been after seeing his side slip to defeat.

"We are moving in the right direction at a rate of knots but you have to be able to take chances," he said.

"I'm very happy with our shape, our structure and tactics, but some of the mistakes were unforgivable.

"We dominated them but they just had too much class at the end of the day."

Wigan will play the winners of next week's semi-final at Warrington between St Helens and Huddersfield.
