Thompson was dual registered to York last season |
Castleford Tigers centre Jordan Thompson has had his loan spell at York City Knights extended by one week. Thompson moved to York in February and made his debut in the Northern Rail Cup game against Keighley. The 19-year-old came through the Tigers' academy and made 15 Super League appearances in 2010. Knights coach Dave Woods told BBC Radio York: "We want a little bit more out of Jordan. He's a talented footballer and we want him to show that for us." Woods added: "We'll play him on Sunday but we're probably going to shift him back to full-back and put Tom Bush on the wing and see how that works. Then we'll take it from there."
