McGoldrick signed a four-year deal with Castleford in 2008 |
Bradford Bulls centre Michael Platt and Castleford Tigers full-back Ryan McGoldrick have been handed suspensions by the Rugby Football League. Platt, who will miss two games, pleaded not guilty to a dangerous throw in Sunday's 52-6 defeat by Huddersfield. McGoldrick was given a one-match ban after lashing out in a tackle and kicking Wigan stand-off Sam Tomkins in their 38-22 defeat, also on Sunday. He pleaded guilty to the charge and both players have been fined £300. McGoldrick has previously received two warning letters for similar offences.
