Richie Myler ran in a hat-trick as Challenge Cup holders Warrington overcame gallant Featherstone Rovers. Myler's opener followed a Simon Grix try, adding to winger Chris Riley's effort, his first of two. Featherstone then went on the attack, Jesse Joe Parker scoring two tries which were converted by Kyle Briggs. But Wolves were too strong for Rovers, Myler completing his hat-trick, adding to touchdowns from David Solomona (2) and Vinnie Anderson.
Warrington coach Tony Smith told BBC Radio Merseyside: "We were probably not at our best but that happens from time to time. "Some of our players were very good and we had a few way off their game. "We got it done and came through, but it was a bit awkward for all sorts of different reasons."
