France international Vaccari joined Catalans in 2008

A brace of tries from Frederic Vaccari helped Catalans ease past Salford to reach the Challenge Cup fifth round.

Jerome Guisset opened the scoring and Catalans increased their lead when Vaccari ran in for his first.

Salford responded with two tries from Jodie Broughton, but Daniel Holdsworth failed to land either conversion.

Vaccari's second came shortly after the break before Catalans then dominated the second half, Steven Bell, Remi Casty and Casey McGuire all crossing.
