St Helens eased into the last 16 of the Challenge Cup after a 10-try victory over French side Toulouse.

Although Toulouse took a surprise lead through Vincent Duport, Chris Dean soon got Saints back into the game.

Two tries apiece from Chris Flannery, Gary Wheeler and Maurie Fa'asavalu extended Saints' advantage.

Ade Gardner, Andrew Dixon and Tony Puletua also crossed with debutant Jamie Foster adding eight conversions in a comprehensive win.

Toulouse, who had to endure a 24-hour coach and ferry journey to fulfil their tie after travel disruption caused by the Icelandic ash cloud, grabbed a late consolation when Martin Mitchell barged over, converted by Nathan Wynn.
