Wakefield (10) 16 Tries: Blanch, Kirmond, George Goals: Cooke 2
Super League bottom club Harlequins earned only their second win of the season as they put five-time winners Wakefield out of the Challenge Cup. Four first-half tries from Tony Clubb (2), Ben Jones-Bishop and David Howell earned the home side a 22-10 lead at the break. Luke George got the visitors to within a score, adding to first-half tries by Damien Blanch and Danny Kirmond. But Quins hung on, Luke Gale's last-minute drop goal sealing victory. Quins were not helped by losing Luke Dorn when he was sin-binned on his first start of the season midway through the second half.
