York City Knights are finding it hard to find a date to play their Northern Rail Cup tie against London Skolars. The match was postponed because of a frozen pitch at the Huntington Stadium on Sunday. Knights general manager Ian Wilson told BBC Radio York: "It's difficult with their travel implications. "There's no free weekends where both clubs are available until the quarter-finals of the Northern Rail Cup, so we're still exploring our options." Wilson continued: "Having a four-hour coach trip during the week is obviously going to be problematic for them. "The Rugby Football League haven't really said if there's a deadline for the game. "From our point of view we'd like to get the game played sooner rather than later but at the same time we appreciate that we need to give London ample time to make their arrangements, especially if it involves some of their players taking time off work." York City Knights also meet London Skolars at the Huntington Stadium in the opening game of the season in Championship 1 on Sunday, 28 February.
