Greenshields could be lining up against his fellow Australians |
Clint Greenshields will be the only Australian to play for France in the Four Nations after Casey McGuire joined Adam Mogg in pulling out of the squad. All three had been included in Bobbie Goulding's squad having qualified on residency grounds after playing for the Catalans Dragons for three years. But Mogg declined for personal reasons and now McGuire says he needs to rest. Ex-Harlequins player Julien Rinaldi, who was left out of the original party, also rejected a late squad invitation. "I've served them for the moment," said Rinaldi, who is now player-coach at Villeneuve. "I haven't closed the door but I prefer to concentrate on my club." The rejections leave coach Goulding with a 22-man squad preparing for next Friday's opening match against England at Doncaster.
