Castleford's fine start to the season continued as they eased to victory over Keighley to book their place in the fifth round of the Challenge Cup.

Four tries in seven minutes, which saw Rangi Chase complete his hat-trick, and 11 tries in all left the Cougars on the wrong end of a 64-20 scoreline.

The opening score came in the 12th minute when Michael Shenton crossed following good work from the backs.

Ten minutes later, with two more tries in the bag, the contest was over.

Keighley coach Barry Eaton:
"We showed determination but the five tries in 17 minutes at the start of the second half killed us."

Castleford coach Terry Matterson:
"It's difficult for us because they played really well and the boys were shocked at how hard the ground was. The scoreline was really tough on the opposition but we're in the draw for the next round.
