Leigh Centurians have signed back-row forward Macgraff Leuluai from Newcastle Knights juniors.

The New Zealander, 18, is the younger brother of Wigan scrum-half Thomas and son of ex-Hull centre James, has agreed a junior contract with the Centurions.

His uncle Philip is also with Super League new boys Salford, while cousin Kylie plays for Leeds.

Born in Wakefield, Leuluai does not need a work permit and will not count on the overseas quota.
