Prop Jamie Peacock has agreed a new three-year contract with Leeds Rhinos that will almost certainly ensure he finishes his career at Headingley.

The deal will keep the England captain, 31, at his hometown club until the end of the 2011 season.

"Jamie is a world-class player and a world-class guy," said Brian McClennan, coach of the Super League champions.

The Kiwi added: "I am sure that we are going to see him go from strength to strength in the coming years."

Peacock, who joined the Rhinos from Yorkshire rivals Bradford in 2006, has also been granted a three-month testimonial by the Rugby Football League for services to the game.

The forward, who is in Jacksonville as part of the Rhinos' pre-season training camp, said: "I am delighted to have agreed the new deal and I am looking forward to the season ahead immensely."
