Whitehaven forward Andy Gorski has signed a new one-year deal at the Recreation Ground.
Gorski, 27, joined the Marras from Rochdale in April and, after figuring in their play-off charge last season, was delighted to commit to the club.
"I really enjoyed my time here last season so that's been a major reason," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"We had a good end to the season and I'm going to move up to Whitehaven and really become a part of it."
Haven were edged out of the National League One final eliminator by eventual winners Salford City Reds after a thrilling end to the season which saw them beat Widnes, Leigh and Halifax en route.
And Gorski is confident that the Marras can enjoy another successful campaign when the season kicks off in the new year.
"We've kept the majority of the squad and just added a few new faces," he said.
"I think, all in all, it's going to be very tight league and over the last few years this league has got stronger and stronger."
Whitehaven have also signed Australian half-back Dan Russell from National League Division One newcomers Gateshead Thunder during the winter break.
