Gateshead Thunder made it eight wins in a row as they beat Doncaster at the Keepmoat Stadium to remain top of National League Two.

They beat their Yorkshire opponents 27-12 in front of over 1,000 fans to go four points clear at the top.

Thunder led 20-2 at half-time thanks to tries from Dylan Nash, Kevin Neighbour and Robin Peers.

Wayne Rettie and Zeb Luisi narrowed the gap after the break but Dean Jamieson crossed to secure the victory.
