The Rhinos struggled to break down a resilient Sharks defence |
Ipswich Rhinos winning start to the new NRL Conference season ended with a 30-10 defeat at home to West London Sharks on Saturday. Although the Rhinos dominated play in the second half they were unable to turn possession into points and were undone by three late breakaway tries. Tim Hopkins and Rod Arbon both touched down for the Suffolk side while Pete LeMarquand kicked one conversion. The defeat means Ipswich slip to third in the Premier Division South table. Their next game is away to struggling Kingston Warriors on Saturday 31 May.
