Lee Radford hopes his East Hull side can complete the double |
East Hull have completed the first part of the Amateur Rugby League 'double' after being crowned National League champions. Easts, who take on Wath Brow Hornets in the National Cup final next Saturday, ran out 26-10 winners against Leigh Miners Rangers at Post Office Road. And coach Lee Radford, who stars for Super League side Hull, was delighted, admitting: "I'm chuffed to bits. "To get here and to get a result is a great achievement for the club." It is the second season running that East Hull have taken the big prize in the National Conference Premier League. And, if they can get past the Cumbrians in the BARLA Cup final at Fylde RUFC, they will emulate their cross-city rivals West Hull, the last club to do the league and cup double.
